Dr. Uday Kiran, MBBS
Psychiatry Resident
Founder – Bharosa Neuro Psychiatry Hospital
(Osmania Medical College)
Dr Uday Kiran is a dedicated mental health professional and psychiatry resident at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, one of India’s most renowned and esteemed medical institutions, known for its legacy of excellence in medical education and patient care.
He completed his MBBS from Kamaneni Medical College, Hyderabad, and brings with him over 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, during which he has worked closely with patients from diverse medical, social, and cultural backgrounds.
Through years of clinical exposure, Dr. Uday Kiran observed a profound and often overlooked truth — psychiatric illnesses and addiction disorders are among the most prevalent yet least addressed health conditions. Many individuals continue to suffer silently due to stigma, lack of awareness, and inadequate access to structured mental health services.
Guided by compassion and responsibility, he chose psychiatry and de-addiction as his life’s calling — not just as a speciality, but as a mission to restore dignity, functionality, and hope to patients and their families.
As he progressed through psychiatry training, Dr Uday Kiran recognised the urgent need for ethical, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary mental health care. He believed that effective psychiatric treatment must go beyond medication and include medical stability, psychological therapy, nutritional care, rehabilitation, and continuous supervision.
With this philosophy, Bharosa Neuro Psychiatry Hospital was established.
The vision is simple yet powerful:
Every individual — regardless of age, gender, or social status — deserves access to quality mental health and de-addiction care.
Bharosa Neuro Psychiatry Hospital follows a patient-centric, multidisciplinary treatment model, ensuring complete care through a coordinated team of:
With round-the-clock medical supervision, structured protocols, and compassionate engagement, Bharosa addresses both the mental and physical aspects of recovery, ensuring safety, continuity, and long-term outcomes.
Dr Uday Kiran envisions Bharosa Neuro Psychiatry Hospital as a trusted name in mental health and de-addiction care across India. His long-term goal is to expand Bharosa pan-India while maintaining the highest standards of ethics, clinical excellence, and human-centred care.
Through Bharosa, he is committed to transforming mental health services in India, breaking stigma, improving accessibility, and ensuring that no patient feels unseen or unsupported.
“Mental health care is not a privilege, it is a basic human necessity.”
